Getting a massage after exercise can relieve muscle fatigue, reduce muscle stiffness and prevent sports injuries and strains. It is recommended to warm up adequately before each exercise. After exercise, you can do stretching to relax the muscles and incorporate massage to improve local blood circulation and eliminate inflammation. However, the massage technique should be gentle and not too irritating.

Sports massage should generally be performed 20-30 minutes after exercise.
